You will manage major planning projects, enforcement work, and appeals, shaping Camden’s future growth with strong negotiation and leadership throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and negotiation skills required.
• Experience in local government handling complex problems.
• RTPI qualification essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead major, complex, and sensitive planning applications, enforcement projects and appeals.
• Mentor and guide planners across levels, providing developmental leadership.
• Directly influence strategic direction, negotiations, and decision-making within Camden’s planning framework.
• Stepping in as Development Management Team Manager or Deputy when required.
