Job summary

Gold Group in Staffordshire is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to lead the planning function on a major £200m new build project on-site in Stafford. You will develop, manage and drive the construction programme in collaboration with the Project Director and site delivery team.

The successful candidate will have extensive UK main contractor experience, a proven track record on large-scale projects and strong scheduling and risk management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Extensive planning experience within a UK main contracting environment.
• Proven ability to plan and deliver major new build projects.
• Strong understanding of sequencing and programme management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning function on a major £200m new build project.
• Develop and maintain the overall construction programme.
• Coordinate with Project Director and senior site teams to drive delivery.
• Monitor progress against milestones and identify delays and risks.
• Provide planning input into reviews, reporting and senior meetings.
