Job summary

SCS JV is seeking a Planning/Programme Assistant to support the Planning Manager in developing and monitoring the construction programme, ensuring alignment with SCS planning standards and HS2 requirements. The role involves cross-functional collaboration, risk assessment and programme integration with BIM.

The position offers flexible working options and a focus on delivering milestones, dates and cost efficiency across North West London projects. Reporting to the Planning Manager.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or an appropriate professional qualification.
• Prior experience in planning function in civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Planning Manager in development of the programme structure, calendars and dates.
• Help to develop cost and resource loaded programmes during ECI Stage One and Two.
• Ensure the programme meets required access dates, milestones and key dates.
• Contribute to assessment of programme risks and mitigation measures.
• Interface with BIM, design, estimation and construction teams for planning data.
• Work with BIM team to integrate construction programme and BIM model.
• Progress monitoring and updating of the programme and forecasting issues.
• Cooperate with Project Controls Manager and Change Management on programme matters.
• Liaise with client’s construction planning team and stakeholders to share best practice.
