Job summary

A leading company in the construction sector is seeking a Principal Planning Engineer to lead project scheduling and team management. In this role, you will ensure project delivery excellence while helping to develop the Planning function as the team grows. The ideal candidate will have significant experience across the project lifecycle and possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Experience across the full project lifecycle (engineering, construction, handover).
• Strong commercial awareness and schedule control expertise.
• Desirable: experience in regulated industries and membership in ACostE or APM.

Are you ready to lead planning on major projects from day one? We’re looking for a Principal Planning Engineer to drive accurate scheduling, stakeholder collaboration, and forward-thinking project control across a growing portfolio.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role within a forward-thinking team. You’ll be central to project delivery — and as we scale up, you’ll help grow the Planning function too.
