Job summary

Arup's Town Planning team in Birmingham is seeking an Associate/Associate Director to lead development management, support leadership, and grow the Birmingham planning capability.

You will work with national planning leadership to deliver a diverse portfolio—commercial, residential, regeneration and infrastructure—while developing client relationships and pursuing new opportunities to raise Arup's profile in the West Midlands.

Qualifications

• Education to degree and/or masters in Town Planning and MRTPI membership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the development management service in Birmingham.
• Provide strategic direction to multidisciplinary planning and design teams.
• Develop client relationships and identify project opportunities including bids and delivery.
• Ensure projects are profitable and meet QA standards.
• Collaborate across Arup planning teams nationally to grow the Birmingham practice.
