Salary up to £40k (Senior) / £50k (Associate Director) incl. car allowance + bonus + benefits (will change dependent experience)
Summary of Role
The Senior Planning Consultant/Associate Director will be a key member of the Planning and Development Advisory team, delivering not only against their own targets for business but also being a key team player, sharing best practice and supporting others in the team.
Involvement will cover a wide range of planning projects, including Planning Appraisals, Applications, Appeals, Land Promotion and Enforcement within the residential, employment, commercial, education and healthcare sectors.
Key Accountabilities
•Manage client relationships •Delivers against own fee earning target, and supports the whole team meet to outperform all KPIs and relevant performance indicators. •Drive business development, seeking new profitable opportunities with existing and new clients. •Engaged and effective team player, taking an active part in the Planning & Development Advisory Division and the broader AR team
Qualifications / Experience Knowledge
•Demonstrable experience of the planning process including the preparation and submission of applications and appeals •Strong report writing skills and experience of delivering recommendations on a range of major planning applications •Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal •A proven track record in client liaison •Commercial awareness and ability to undertake tasks on time and deliver sustained fee income •Member of the RTPI (Senior Planner desirable; Associate Director essential)
