Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Irvine, Scotland, is seeking a Senior Planner to lead scheduling across multiple projects within the Energy and Natural Resources sector. You will develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), coordinate time, cost, risk and reporting to support decision-making.

The role requires extensive planning and scheduling experience, proficiency in Primavera P6, and the ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders and drive delivery to time and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Senior professional project controls experience specialising in planning & scheduling across complex projects.
• Knowledge of NEC contract requirements relating to programme management.
• BPSS security clearance required or obtainable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and leadership ability.
• Ability to make risk-based decisions where parameters are unclear.
• Strong stakeholder management and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, maintenance and management of project schedules and IMS across complex projects.
• Monitor progress against scope, schedule, cost, risk and KPI baselines; identify trends and issues.
• Conduct critical path, float and schedule impact analysis; recommend recovery actions.
• Produce progress updates, dashboards and governance information for decision-making.
• Support change control; evaluate impacts on schedule, cost and delivery objectives.
• Collaborate with project managers and controls teams to align scope and delivery.
