Job summary

Morson Edge is recruiting a Senior Planner for a major client in the nuclear sector. The role is based at Sellafield, Cumbria, with hybrid working between home and office.

SC level security clearance is essential, with UK citizenship and no recent work outside the UK in the last 5 years. You will lead a Project Controls team, drive cost forecasting, WBS development, and risk assessment across medium to high complexity projects, ensuring rigorous control and reporting aligned with project

Qualifications

• Experience delivering planning services on large or complex engineering projects.
• Proven ability to manage Planning staff or teams and performance.
• Commercial awareness and contract experience.
• Knowledge of risk analysis and project controls frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and mentoring of the Project Controls team.
• Develop detailed forecast costs, WBS, and quantity tracking for complex projects.
• Lead earned value, schedule variance analysis, and risk reviews.
• Prepare cost and progress reports and support PMO reviews.
