Job summary

Identifi Global in Suffolk is seeking a Senior Planner (P6) to lead planning and programme controls across complex civil engineering and construction packages, including NEC contract planning and project controls.

The role focuses on Primavera P6 planning, resource loading and dashboards (Power BI), with hybrid on-site work 3–4 days per week. You will engage with clients and delivery teams to drive schedules and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' construction planning experience on major civil projects.
• Advanced Primavera P6 skills for programme development and progress tracking.
• Strong NEC contracts knowledge and programme management.
• Experience with reinforced concrete frame construction and sequencing.
• Experience developing and maintaining integrated construction programmes.
• Understanding of productivity, resources and typical production rates.
• Experience collaborating with clients, contractors and delivery teams.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and programme controls across complex civil packages.
• Develop integrated master programmes and phase plans.
• Produce NEC-compliant programmes and updates.
• Monitor progress, analyze critical paths and forecast.
• Coordinate construction sequencing with site teams.
• Undertake resource loading and forecasting.
• Support commercial teams on changes and forecasts.
• Create dashboards and progress reports using P6 and BI.
• Engage with clients, PMs, engineers and subcontractors.
• Facilitate weekly lookahead planning and reviews.
