Job summary

Knight Frank is seeking an ambitious Senior Planner to join the London Planning Team. Based from our London office, you will manage planning projects across London and the South East, guiding clients through the planning process.

You will work with land & development teams to deliver planning advice, build client relationships, and contribute to successful planning outcomes for a diverse client base. MRTPI and 2+ years PQE preferred.

Qualifications

• MRTPI qualified with 2+ years PQE.
• Experience in Development Management planning.
• Experience managing planning applications.
• Experience in strategic land promotion, residential development or housebuilder projects advantageous.
• Strong understanding of the UK planning system and policy.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning projects across London and the South East, from site appraisal to determination.
• Prepare, coordinate and submit planning applications, appeals and development strategy work.
• Advise clients on planning policy, land promotion opportunities and development potential.
• Support the promotion of strategic land opportunities and residential-led development schemes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, local authorities, consultants and stakeholders.
• Assist with business development activities, including networking, client meetings and proposals.
• Support senior team members in securing new instructions and expanding client relationships.
• Undertake planning research, policy reviews and site appraisals to inform strategy.
• Collaborate with Knight Frank’s wider Planning, Residential Development and Land teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Support and mentor junior planning team members where appropriate.
