SENIOR PLANNER £350 MILLION PROJECT

Salary: up to £80k

Senior Planner – LONDON + BRIGHTON- Major New Mixed Use Development

Pinnacle Recruitment are working on behalf of a major Main Contractor who will be building three multi-million pound mixed use development schemes in London. They are presently looking to recruit an experienced Senior Planner to support these exciting and challenging new projects.

This is an opportunity to join a leading organisation, where you will be working closely with project teams and surveyors leading the construction programme, making adjustments to project plans as necessary and providing advice and support on the development of specific systems of working.

The Role will encompass:

  • The implementation of appropriate techniques and sequencing of events based on each project's individual merit.
  • Determining sufficient logistic solutions and resources by investigating sites and local environments.
  • The preparation of logistics plans.
  • Scheduling labour, equipment, temporary works, design information requirements and procurement for each scheme.
  • Monitoring progress throughout the construction process, along with continual comparison with the projected schedule of work.
  • Using graphical and scheduled media to reflect progress, event impacts and forecasts.
  • Using specialist planning computer software, including 4D.
  • Preparing logistics plans as well as writing method statements.
  • Drawing up plans and presenting schedules of work through visual aids.
  • Reporting findings, and recommending solutions to pull through delays.
  • Recording relevant events for potential entitlement claims.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A positive and enthusiastic approach to working within a team environment as well as excellent communication skills through various levels of professionalism as well as possessing highly proficient formal reporting skills.
  • Experience in Contract and Tender Planning.
  • Preferably degree qualified, minimum qualification to HNC, HND Level.
  • A good working knowledge of 3D OR 4D modelling.
  • Experience using Asta Powerpoint, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Word, and P6 Software is essential.
