Job summary

Hitachi Energy UK Limited is seeking a Senior Planner to lead the development and governance of complex project programmes in the UK energy sector. You will own multiple projects from planning through to execution, using Primavera P6 to ensure milestones align with NEC/FIDIC contractual requirements.

You will interact with clients, contractors and internal teams to drive schedule integrity and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Senior Planner or related role in EPC/energy sectors.
• Experience with NEC or FIDIC contracts and contract reporting.
• Stakeholder engagement and clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and governance of integrated project programmes using Primavera P6.
• Analyse scope, develop resource-loaded schedules and baselines.
• Monitor progress, identify critical path and schedule risks.
• Produce updates, dashboards and forecast analyses for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction to align milestones.
