Job summary

iO Associates seeks a Senior Project Planner – Defence to join a top international consultancy for design, engineering and project management. You will lead scheduling on large defence programmes across Southwest UK locations (Bristol, Cardiff, Swindon, Exeter, Plymouth, Gloucester) with hybrid working (3 days onsite).

Responsibilities include establishing interfaces with stakeholders, maintaining schedules in Primavera P6 / Asta / MSP, and supporting senior Project and Controls Managers with

Qualifications

• Experience working on large defence projects.
• Project-based planning experience.
• Understanding of planning software (Primavera P6).
• Strong experience in senior stakeholder management.

Up to £70K per annum

A Senior Project Planner – Defenceis needed to work with a top international consulting firm for design, engineering, and project management. A global engineering and project management firm specialising in infrastructure, transportation, energy, and defence.

You will establish and manage key programme interfaces with stakeholders across the project lifecycle. Develop and maintain schedules using planning tools like P6, Asta, or MSP, incorporating site updates and progress reports. Support Project and Controls Managers in schedule coordination and interface alignment.

*Overnight travel involved – expenses paid by the company*

Skills:

• Experience working on large projects – Defence
