Job summary

McLaughlin & Harvey Ltd is seeking a Senior Planner to enhance their planning team across high-value construction projects. Reporting to the Head of Planning, you will develop tender submissions, construction and target programmes, procurement scheduling, and resource/cost allocations while coordinating report development.

Qualifications

• Construction experience in Building/Construction.
• Understanding of the construction process from inception to completion.
• Proficient IT skills: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Attention to detail in planning and reporting.
• Experience with P6 scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent, accurate programme data.
• Develop planning solutions using Asta PowerProject.
• Present planned intent clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop project programmes, method statements and logistics plans.
• Maintain records of assumptions and constraints in programmes.
• Review drawings and subcontractor programmes to align with project programmes.
• Monitor progress and report on slippage and critical path.
• Support and develop other members of the planning team.
• Travel to tender sites as needed.
