AmcoGiffen in Warrington leads the planning function for Civil Engineering and Infrastructure across the North West. The Senior Planner (P6) will develop, manage, and maintain integrated project programmes supporting successful delivery on multi-project portfolios.
You will collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and clients to ensure programmes meet safety, efficiency, and performance targets, while mentoring junior planners and driving best practice across teams.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Senior Planner (P6) to join our established and growing business, supporting the successful delivery of complex civil engineering and infrastructure projects across the North West.
Working across a diverse and active portfolio including rail and non-rail frameworks this role offers the opportunity to influence project success at both strategic and delivery levels, working closely with operational teams and key stakeholders across the region.
Based from Warrington, you will play a key role in developing, managing, and maintaining integrated project programmes that support effective planning, control, and delivery across multiple projects.
You will be part of a collaborative and well-established planning function, working alongside project teams, commercial leads, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme and performance expectations.
As the business continues to grow across the North West, this is a critical role in strengthening planning capability, driving best practice, and enhancing project controls across a varied and challenging project environment.
As Senior Planner, you will provide robust planning and project controls support throughout the full project lifecycle—from tender stage through to delivery and completion.
You will be an experienced and proactive planning professional with a strong background in civil engineering and infrastructure projects, ideally within rail or similar complex environments.
