Senior Planner

Location: Head Office: Skipton, North Yorkshire

Penguin Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a multi-disciplinary client focused on rural development and diversification. They work throughout the UK with a wide and varied client base with diverse land and property interests.

The team work very closely together in a collaborative environment and share the same passion in achieving their goals together

Candidates are required to:

  • Be commercially aware with a proven track record in business development and over five years' post qualification experience working as a planner.
  • Have an excellent understanding of client relationship management.
  • Have excellent presentation skills.
  • Have a proven ability to manage workload, budgets and project co-ordination.
  • Have a proven track record in business development and project delivery.
  • Be competent and confident in dealing with a range of planning disciplines.
  • Have experience of working in a rural planning practice is not essential, but a demonstration of an understanding of rural planning issues is beneficial.

The role will involve delivering a portfolio of client projects across rural land and property and will draw on all the candidates experience of working in business development and planning

What does the role offer?

  • Flexible, nationwide.
  • The head office is located in Skipton in the Yorkshire Dales but as a flexible employer they will consider applications from anywhere in the UK on a hybrid basis, with an expectation of some working days each month being spent in Skipton. We are set up to work collaboratively as a dispersed team.
