Job summary

Red Sky Personnel Ltd is seeking a Senior Planner to support delivery on a major infrastructure project in Snowdonia, North Wales. You will provide senior-level planning and programme support across a complex civil engineering scheme, coordinating with design, engineering and construction teams.

Senior Planner Major Infrastructure Project

North Wales 3-Month Contract Immediate Start

We are recruiting an experienced Senior Planner to support the delivery team on a major infrastructure project in Snowdonia, North Wales.

The Role

Working as part of an established project team, you will provide senior-level planning and programme support across a complex major infrastructure scheme. The project forms part of a significant programme of works designed to reduce the visual impact of existing electricity transmission infrastructure within a sensitive landscape. The scheme involves complex underground infrastructure, tunnelling and associated heavy civil engineering works, requiring close coordination across design, engineering and construction activities.

Key details:

• Initial 3-month contract
• ASAP start
• 45 hours per week
• Minimum 4 days per week on site
• Day-rate contract
• Based in Snowdonia, North Wales
• £500 £550 per day

Experience Required

• Strong Senior Planner experience within major civil engineering or infrastructure
• Proven experience developing, maintaining and updating construction programmes
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project controls
• Experience working closely with engineering and operational delivery teams
• Previous Tier 1 contractor experience highly desirable
• Experience across heavy civils, tunnelling, utilities or energy infrastructure would be advantageous
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
