Job summary

An engineering consultancy, specializing in major projects, is seeking a dynamic Senior Planner in London. This permanent role involves collaborating with project managers to ensure successful project delivery, utilizing skills in cost management and software like Primavera P6. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in civil engineering, particularly with Tier 1 or 2 contractors, and experience in managing large-scale projects, underpinned by a strong understanding of NEC contracts.

Qualifications

• Experience with Tier 1 or 2 Civil Engineering contractors.
• Previous involvement in large scale or major projects.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera, Microsoft Project, and ASTA Powerproject.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Update and develop programs according to supply chain and stakeholder inputs.
• Manage cost loading and earned value management.

Senior Planner
Location: London, England
75,000 - 85,000 Per Annum
Hybrid Work

We are seeking an Senior Planner to join our client's team on a Major Project in London on a permanent basis.
Our client is a specialist in delivering major projects in a variety of sectors across the world including highways, tunnels, bridges and High Speed Rail.

Responsibilities:
Working closely with Project managers to ensure a successful delivery of major projects.
Updating and developing programs in accordance with the supply chain, delivery team and stakeholders.
Cost loading and earned value management using software's like Primavera P6
Producing regular reports as well as look ahead programmes and updates for the delivery team.

Requirements:
Experience working for either Tier 1 or 2 Civil Engineering contractors.
Previous experience working on Large scale/ Major projects.
Proficient in software's such as Primavera, Microsoft Project and ASTA Powerproject.
Extensive knowledge of NEC3/4 contracts.
