Belcan seeks an experienced Senior Planner to support a major long-term programme in a highly regulated environment. The role requires strong Primavera P6, Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS) and Earned Value Management (EVM) expertise to thrive in complex programme environments.

The position is based onsite in the Berkshire area, with an 18-month contract and Inside IR35 status. You will lead planning activities, drive schedule integrity, and collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.

Qualificações

• Significant experience as Senior Planner in complex programmes.
• Proven Primavera P6 expertise and IMS/EVM proficiency.
• Experience delivering planning services in regulated, large organisations.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and manage Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
• Provide planning expertise to programme and project teams.
• Deliver schedule analysis, forecasting and reporting for decisions.
• Conduct network and critical path analysis.
• Support EVM activities and SPI reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
• Provide planning expertise and support to programme and project teams.
• Deliver schedule analysis, forecasting and reporting to support business decision-making.
• Conduct network analysis and critical path analysis.
• Support Earned Value Management (EVM) activities and schedule performance reporting (SPI).
• Produce planning and EV deliverables in line with agreed business rhythms.
• Deliver long-range operational and integrated programme planning activities.
• Ensure schedule integrity and adherence to planning standards, policies and procedures.
• Support the continuous improvement of planning processes, tools and methodologies.
• Assist with the implementation and development of planning tools, EVMS templates and guidance.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with key project stakeholders.
• Promote high standards of safety, security, quality and teamwork.

Essential Experience

• Significant experience as a Senior Planner within complex programmes or projects.
• Strong Primavera P6 expertise with the ability to champion planning best practice.
• Experience delivering planning services within large, complex organisations.
• Background within sectors such as:
  • Defence
  • Aerospace
  • Rail
  • Nuclear
  • Infrastructure
  • Major Engineering Programmes
• Strong understanding of:
  • Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS)
  • Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Schedule Performance Analysis (SPI)
  • Critical Path Analysis
  • Network Logic and Schedule Integrity
• Ability to demonstrate examples where planning activities have added value to programme delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience working closely with Project Managers, engineers and technical teams.
• Proactive mindset with the confidence to lead and promote planning excellence.
