Job summary

Cytel is recruiting a Senior Statistical Programmer to work embedded with a global pharmaceutical client, supported by Cytel. You will lead PK/PD modeling and simulation activities, prepare NONMEM-ready datasets, and contribute to e-submission packages and study reports.

Key responsibilities include scripting in R or SAS, dataset QC, and collaboration across Data Management, BAN/BDS, EPOD and external vendors to ensure timely delivery under strict industry compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, computer science, mathematics or equivalent.
• 6+ years SAS programming with pharma/biotech data; 4+ years with a master’s degree or higher.
• Experience leading studies and juggling multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare NONMEM analysis input datasets and associated scripts for PK/PD analyses.
• QC NONMEM datasets and document QC findings and follow-up actions.
• Generate e-submission packages including input datasets, control files and define.xml/var-names-descr files.
• Guide junior CPP members on the DataFlow process and related tools.
• Collaborate with Data Management, BAN/BDS, EPOD and external vendors to align data needs.
• Update SOPs, templates and training materials for CPP processes.
