Job summary

Franco Manca in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Pizza Chef to lead the kitchen, crafting our signature sourdough pizzas and guiding the team to deliver outstanding service.

You will mentor juniors, uphold high standards of food quality and hygiene, manage dough prep and toppings, and fire pizzas in our wood ovens, while staying cool under pressure and growing your culinary leadership.

• Experience as a pizza chef or in a professional kitchen.
• Confident in handling dough and wood-fired ovens.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen operations and mentor the team to deliver great service.
• Prepare and cook sourdough pizzas to perfection.
• Assist Head Chef in managing kitchen standards and hygiene.
• Train junior staff and share knowledge.
• Handle dough preparation, toppings, and wood oven firing.
• Maintain composure during busy shifts.
• Oversee stock management and prep for service.

• £13.26 – 16.26 per hour OTE (including service charge - our data says you can earn between £1.5 to £3 per hour on top of your pay)
