Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear, part of Babcock International Group, invites applications for a Senior Piping Engineer. You will lead piping stress analyses, review drawings and models, and own crucial interfaces with suppliers and multidisciplinary teams on major projects.

Based in Grimsby or Hessle with hybrid working, you will use Caesar II and PV Elite, pursue SC clearance, and develop within a highly regulated nuclear environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in piping stress analysis within highly regulated industries.
• Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards (ASME B31.1, B31.3, BS EN 13480).
• Experience reviewing and approving piping isometrics and vendor documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform piping stress analyses to ensure safety under loads.
• Review drawings, layouts and 3D models for compliance with standards.
• Lead technical interfaces with suppliers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Produce and review engineering specifications, calculations, and reports.
• Support project delivery through technical problem solving and QA activities.
