Job Description

A new opportunity has arisen for a Senior PI Underwriter to join a large PI underwriting team in London. The role involves working in the office three days a week and remotely two days. Reporting directly to the Head of Professional Indemnity, the focus will be on underwriting UK PI business.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwriting professional indemnity risks for various professions including architects, accountants, design & construct, media, and IT.
• Managing both primary and excess layer business.
• Handling risks from £2k to £50k GWP.
• Providing technical PI advice to brokers.
• Conducting broker meetings independently.
• Networking with London Market and regional brokers; strong relationships are a plus.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience in the above professions and underwriting risks within the specified GWP range is preferred. The role offers potential for progression into senior leadership positions within a dynamic and promising organization.
