Job summary

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Physiotherapy Assistant to join the Acute and Older Persons Medicine team. You will support both administrative and clinical tasks while learning from experienced Physiotherapists and support staff.

The post involves working under supervision and occasionally on a 7-day roster, with training provided to deliver high-quality patient care in an adult inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Working under direction to undertake a variety of non-clinical administrative tasks to support the Physiotherapy service
• Working under supervision to undertake a variety of clinical tasks to support the delivery of Physiotherapy to patients
• Working without direct supervision within a specified clinical area to undertake a variety of delegated clinical tasks to support the delivery of Physiotherapy to patients, in accordance with agreed guidance/care pathways
• Support the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service, all staff are expected to act as a role model to others in all aspects of their work and consistently demonstrate NNUH’s ‘PRIDE’ values of People focused, Respect, Dedication, Integrity and Excellence
• As the successful post holders, you will be included in the Integrate Medicine in-patient weekend and bank holiday roster to fulfil the 7-day working commitments required for this post.
