Job summary

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Static Senior Physiotherapist for the Acute & OPM teams. The post focuses on older adults recovering from acute illness, with a home-first ethos and emphasis on early mobility and function.

You will work within a team of physiotherapists and assistants, provide clinical leadership, support junior staff and contribute to education and service development. Weekend work is required.

Qualifications

• Specialist interest in supporting older adults recovering from acute illness.
• Experience in physiotherapy within an acute hospital setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and teaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Senior Physiotherapist responsible for the physiotherapy management of a defined caseload within the specialty.
• Assess, prioritise and manage own caseload and maintain patient records as an autonomous practitioner.
• Provide clinical leadership within the speciality including educational and managerial guidance.
• Participate in planning, development, coordination, delivery and evaluation of the physiotherapy service.
• Deputise for Team Leader/Senior staff as required and support junior staff.
• Demonstrate NHS values of PRIDE in all aspects of work.
