Job summary

Locala Health & Wellbeing is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to join the Urgent Community Response Team on a permanent basis. The role is Band 6, offering £39,959–£48,117 per year for 37.5 hours per week.

You will bring a strong community background, provide comprehensive assessments and short‑term interventions, and help prevent hospital admissions by delivering timely, patient‑centred care in the community.

Qualifications

• Senior Physiotherapist with a strong community background.
• Positive attitude, excellent communication skills, flexibility, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, treatment, and evaluation for patients in crisis.
• Deliver short-term intervention programmes to stabilise patients.
• Contribute to reducing hospital admissions through timely care.
• Manage a caseload of adults 18+ with complex health and social care needs in the community.
• Support individuals to maximise independence and health outcomes with multidisciplinary teams.
