Position: Senior Physiotherapist - North East

Care home: Multisite covering three services across the North East region

Location: Tees Grange - Stockton-on-Tees, Hylton Grange - Sunderland, Tyne Grange - Newcastle upon Tyne

Contract type: Full time - 40 hours per week

Rate: £41,360 per annum

As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will lead a Therapy Team across the North East to provide high-quality physiotherapy services. You will play a key role in empowering individuals and maximising their independence.

About the role

Our Senior Physiotherapists provide assessments, diagnoses, and interventions to help maintain muscle function, prevent deterioration, and improve movement and mobility.

You will work as part of a Clinical Team to develop person-centred care and rehabilitation plans, supporting individuals to achieve their physiotherapy goals and evaluate outcomes.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Managing a clinical caseload
2. Working closely with individuals, their families, and professionals to deliver physiotherapy interventions
3. Leading and collaborating with the Therapy Team (Occupational Therapist, Therapy Assistant, Activities Coordinators)
4. Conducting assessments
5. Maintaining accurate records
6. Promoting choice, dignity, and independence
