Job summary

Circle Cheshire Clinic in Northwich is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to join the MSK team on a bank basis, covering shifts as required and supplementing staffing during busy periods.

You will be HCPC-registered and contribute to high-quality patient care, independently assessing and treating complex cases across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will also develop treatment plans, manage caseloads, supervise juniors, and maintain accurate records while participating in audits and CPD.

• Solid post-registration experience across a range of clinical areas.
• Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently assess and treat patients with more complex needs across inpatient or outpatient settings.
• Develop individualised treatment plans using a variety of physiotherapy techniques to optimise recovery, function, and independence.
• Manage a designated caseload efficiently, prioritising based on clinical urgency and discharge planning needs.
• Act as a point of contact for junior physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and students, offering guidance and informal supervision.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and professional clinical records in line with HCPC, CSP, and local policy.
• Participate in audits, service evaluations, and quality improvement projects.
• Demonstrate commitment to ongoing CPD and reflective practice to support your development as a senior clinician.

Salary: Up to £25.00 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in thePhysiotherapydepartment.

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.
