A healthcare provider in England is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to join their Community Assessment and Treatment Service. The successful candidate will provide assessments and treatment plans for elderly patients in Thame and Marlow, working alongside a multidisciplinary team. The role requires at least 2 years of relevant experience, a BSc or Diploma in physiotherapy, and HCPC registration. Flexible working arrangements are available with a salary range of £38,682 to £46,580 pro rata.
In order to cover parental leave we are looking for a dynamic individual to work within a service committed to improving the health and wellbeing of frail and or older people. The Community Assessment and Treatment Services (CATS) provides rapid access to a multidisciplinary team comprising of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists for primarily frail and/or elderly patients with a strong focus on providing high quality care for people with frailty.
We are looking for a senior physiotherapist to provide assessments and treatment plans for patients attending Thame and Marlow CATS. They will also support the developing Marlow CATS Rehabilitation Service.
This is a great opportunity to work alongside GPs with a special interest in elderly care and Falls Specialist physiotherapists enabling clinical development in frailty and in falls prevention.
We are looking for someone who can work 3 full days (22.5 hours) or more (up to 27 hours)
If successful, you will be required to attend a face to face interview as part of this process.
The successful candidate will provide physiotherapy assessments within the clinics in Thame and Marlow as part of either Comprehensive Geriatric Assessments or Nursing and Therapy led Multifactorial falls Assessments.
They will also provide indirect supervision for the rehabilitation support worker in Marlow CATS Rehab Service.
The services run from 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays.
Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicants are able to travel effectively and independently on a daily basis to and from the base, clients' homes and other venues around the geographical area.
