A regional health and social care organization is seeking a mid-senior level Band 6 Senior Physiotherapist to join their Community Rehabilitation Service in Peterborough. The successful candidate will assess and develop physiotherapy programs, manage caseloads, and supervise junior staff. A full UK driving licence and vehicle are required. The role emphasizes autonomy and teamwork to deliver high-quality care to patients in their home environments.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 Senior Physiotherapist to join the Community Rehabilitation Service. The Senior Physiotherapist role is based in Peterborough and the surrounding area. You would be working as part of a community-based therapy team providing high quality rehabilitation to patients with physical disabilities in their home environment.
This post will allow the successful candidate to consolidate their community, clinical and managerial skills. You will be working within a team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Assistants, and alongside Nursing and Mental Health colleagues.
The ideal candidate will have a strong team-work ethic, sense of accountability, accompanied by an ability to work under considerable pressure at times. This post is open to professionals with the right attributes to enhance a team.
Please note for this role you will be required to travel independently around the county. You will need a full UK driving licence and have use of a vehicle. You cannot use public transport for this role as this is not reliable and will not allow you to meet service needs. Please confirm in your application that you meet the specified criteria.
