Job summary

Circle Health Group is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to join Goring Hall Hospital in West Sussex. The role is 20 hours per week on a 12-month fixed-term basis, with a salary up to £44,900 FTE per year depending on experience and qualifications.

The successful candidate will assess and treat complex MSK patients, develop tailored plans, and work within the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and patient outcomes. Access to development opportunities is provided.

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
• Extensive post-registration experience across clinical areas.
• Extensive MSK rehabilitation, sports injuries and post-surgical recovery experience.
• Strong clinical reasoning and decision making.
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to team work and service improvement.
• Evidence of CPD or postgraduate learning in a relevant area.
• Experience mentoring junior staff or students.
• Familiarity with electronic documentation and outcome measurement tools.
• Involvement in audit or clinical service initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Independently assess and treat patients with complex needs across inpatient or outpatient settings.
• Develop individualised treatment plans to optimise recovery, function and independence.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt interventions to maintain high clinical standards.
• Manage a designated caseload efficiently, prioritising by urgency and discharge planning.
• Liaise with the MDT to support safe, effective and timely patient care.
• Support continuity of care by assisting patient transitions between services.

Senior Physiotherapist - 12 Months Fixed Term Goring Hall Hospital 20 Hours & Fixed Term Salary: Up to £44,900 FTE per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

Goring Hall Hospital in West Sussex is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department. This is a part-time role for 20 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• Independently assess and treat patients with more complex needs across inpatient or outpatient settings.
• Develop individualised treatment plans using a variety of physiotherapy techniques to optimise recovery, function, and independence.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt interventions accordingly, ensuring high standards of clinical care.
• Manage a designated caseload efficiently, prioritising based on clinical urgency and discharge planning needs.
• Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to support safe, effective, and timely patient care.
• Contribute to continuity of care by supporting patient transitions between services.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
• Solid post-registration experience across a range of clinical areas.
• Extensive experience in musculoskeletal (MSK) rehabilitation, sports injuries, and post-surgical recovery.
• Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to team working and service improvement.
• Evidence of CPD or postgraduate learning in a relevant clinical area.
• Experience supporting or mentoring junior staff or students.
• Familiarity with electronic documentation and outcome measurement tools.
• Involvement in audit or clinical service initiatives.
