Job summary

Soaring Health is hiring a Physiotherapist to evaluate new patients, design personalized treatment plans, and deliver therapy including massage and rehabilitation using specialist equipment.

You will mobilize, educate, and supervise patients, maintain records, and contribute to MDT training and community outreach across diverse client groups.

Qualifications

• Clinical evaluation of new patients including medical history and movement assessment.
• Developing and adjusting treatment plans based on diagnoses.
• Provide massage therapy to relieve soft tissue pain and improve function.

What You Will Do

In addition to the general Physiotherapist roles & responsibilities:

• Evaluating the medical history and the movement and functional abilities of new patients
• Developing treatment plans based on medical diagnoses
• Providing patients with massage therapy to relieve soft tissue pain
• Mobilizing and manipulating muscles and joints
• Providing treatment using physiotherapy and rehabilitation equipment
• Giving patients exercises designed to strengthen and increase their motor abilities
• Showing patients exercises that they can perform on their own at home (and correcting any incorrect posture / movements)
• Keeping updated patient records detailing all therapy provided (i.e. treatment and results)
• Adjusting plans and prescribing new treatment, where necessary
• Community based work with travel and seeing various client types across all ages

You Will Also Be Responsible For

• Taking on more COMPLEX clients
• Seeing a greater variety of clients of all types
• Look at completing AT assessment and reports independently for specialized AT
• Be able to effectively supervise PT and AHA students in clinic
• Give opportunity to new grads to observe
• Be a buddy for new grad Physiotherapists
• Participate in MDT training and workshops
• Begin to build skills in particular clinical areas
• Provide mentoring and supervision for physio and new grad physios
