Job summary

East Kent Hospitals NHS Trust in Margate is seeking a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Trauma and Orthopaedics team on a fixed-term 12-month contract with 37.5 hours per week (Friday and Saturday). The post is based at QEQM and offers development opportunities within a large, supportive Trust.

You will work alongside Band 7 colleagues and rotations for Band 5/4 staff, managing a specialist caseload and contributing to departmental training and improvements.

Qualifications

• BSc Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
• Member of CSP.
• 18 months post graduate experience in relevant clinical area.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily clinical caseload across rotations and provide highly specialised therapy to the MDT.
• Deputise for Team Leader on clinical and managerial issues within the team.
• Be actively involved with training within the Department.
