Senior PHP Software Engineer

We're looking for a dynamic Senior PHP Software Engineer to lead our rapidly growing development team and drive productivity as we expand internationally.

We are one of the fastest growing E-commerce startups, reaching profitability in Q4 last year with over a million in annual turnover. Our mission is to conquer the E-commerce market, aiming to take significant market share from industry leaders. With strong cash reserves and VC backing, we are set to expand to over countries in the coming years, with technology at our core.

Our development department comprises 8 agile sprint teams, each led by a PHP team lead, including 2 senior backend engineers, 1 senior frontend engineer, 1 QA, and 1 Product Manager. We plan to add 6 more teams as part of our expansion. We seek talented senior PHP engineers to join us, ensuring high-quality coding standards and timely delivery of key projects.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards within your team.
• Promote best development practices such as TDD, Unit Testing, and SOLID principles.
• Ensure key projects are delivered on time.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of PHP development experience with high-quality coding skills.
• Experience mentoring or managing junior developers and conducting code reviews.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Ability to balance coding standards with project deadlines.
• Proactive attitude and comfort working under tight deadlines.
• Passion for growing a business beyond just working a 9-5.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience in the E-commerce industry.
• Familiarity with launching services in new markets or countries.
