Senior PHP Software Engineer

We are seeking a passionate Senior PHP Software Engineer with expertise in microservices to work on exciting enterprise projects at the heart of a fintech success story.

As a growing business (30+ hires in the last 6 months), we are constantly improving our processes and methodologies to help our teams thrive locally and globally. Your role will be crucial in this effort.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop critical parts of the platform, focusing on PHP and microservices architecture.
• Extend and enhance existing platform functionalities.
• Make key architectural decisions to advance the platform.
• Support product and delivery teams.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.

Requirements:

• Experience in PHP, microservices, AWS, DDD, and event-driven design.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Focus on maintaining and improving production services (SRE).
• Interest in learning new technologies such as Golang.
