Primo Interactive Limited is seeking a skilled PHP developer to build and maintain PHP 8 applications. You will work with MySQL behind the scenes, integrate third‑party APIs, and ensure robust error handling. You’ll review peers’ code and address production issues from logs to prevent recurrence.

Experience with PHP, SQL, and Git is essential; Docker/Linux knowledge is a plus. The role emphasizes maintaining code written long ago and continuing to evolve systems for reliability and performance.

Formación

• Minimum five years of commercial work in this field
• Modern PHP you have shipped and supported, with or without a framework
• SQL you write yourself, with an eye on the query plan
• Git in daily use, and a view on what makes a commit readable
• The patience to read old code before changing it

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain PHP 8 applications and websites with MySQL behind them
• Integrate third-party APIs: payment providers, vehicle data feeds, CRMs, telephony
• Write the error path with the happy path
• Review colleagues' code and have yours reviewed
• Fix production problems from the log, reproduce them, and make sure they stay fixed
