You will have:

• Strong, commercial experience with PHP and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Experience with Symfony, Laravel, or bespoke MVC frameworks
• Solid understanding of automated testing practices
• Expertise in performant MySQL and relational database design
• Hands-on API design and development experience
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Excellent communication skills to start quickly on new projects
• A positive attitude and leadership desire

You should be comfortable with:

• Scaling PHP/MySQL platforms for growth and performance demands
• Working with Laravel to build robust applications
• Implementing CD/CI pipelines
• Writing structured HTML and CSS

Development & Problem Solving:

• Writing clean, scalable code across various projects
• Collaborating to meet client requirements
• Addressing technical challenges proactively with effective solutions
• Conducting code reviews for quality and best practices adherence

Projects include scaling a global white-label platform and launching a new IoT data service.

The company is based in West Yorkshire, UK, with a flexible remote work setup and monthly team meetings for collaboration.
