Job description

The Royal London Hospital is seeking an experienced Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our newly established TTA Optimisation Team. This role is essential for improving the quality and efficiency of discharge medication processes, ensuring optimal patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. TTA Coordination: Oversee the coordination and processing of TTA prescriptions, ensuring compliance with local and national guidelines.
  2. Supervision: Provide guidance and supervision to pharmacy assistants and trainees, fostering their development and maintaining high service standards.
  3. Quality Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and contribute to the continuous enhancement of TTA services by implementing local solutions and supporting new initiatives.
  4. Training and Development: Train and develop junior staff, promoting high performance and accountability within the team.
