Job summary

Practice Plus Group Gatwick Immigration Removal Centre is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Technician to supervise the pharmacy team and oversee medicines management across primary care and substance misuse wings.

From 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday, you’ll benefit from on-site parking, an excellent induction, and clear career development opportunities in a fast-paced secure environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or above, BTEC or equivalent
• Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
• Up to date with Continual Professional Development (CPD)
• Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience
• Experience in hospital, community or prison environment preferred but not essential

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support development of junior staff
• Oversee administration and medicines management across primary care and substance misuse wings
• Provide health promotion advice on smoking cessation, hypertension, healthy living and minor ailments
