Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience is essential.
• Demonstrable experience in medicines management, dispensing, and stock control.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operations of the hospital pharmacy, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services.
• Oversee the preparation, checking, and dispensing of medicines, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and patient safety.
• Manage medication stock levels and inventory, ensuring essential medicines are available when required.
• Provide expert advice and support to healthcare professionals, patients, and carers regarding medicines management.
