Job description

We have an opportunity for an experienced and committed pharmacy technician to join the Mile End Pharmacy Dispensary.

The post holder will lead a full range of dispensing activities, motivate the team to meet department deadlines, and participate in line management of junior staff. You will use pharmacy computer systems and robotics to coordinate and maintain the supply of medicines.

You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be calm, flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a dynamic environment.

You will be expected to develop good working relationships with other pharmacy staff and the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements:

  • Completed a BTEC / NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent
  • Registered as a pharmacy technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Accreditation in medicines management training (AIMMS/MOPs)
  • Completed accredited checking technician training (ACPT)
