Job summary

A leading healthcare provider seeks a Senior Pharmacy Technician to oversee pharmacy services in a secure environment. Essential qualifications include at least 4 GCSEs and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council. Candidates should bring experience in managing pharmacy procedures, advising patients, and continuous improvement of services.

Qualifications

  • Assist the pharmacy provider in regular reviews and developments of local/national procedures.

Experience

Essential criteria

  • Have experience in the efficient day to day running of pharmacy services
  • Be fully conversant of developments in local/national pharmacy procedures and assist the pharmacy provider in regular review and development of these

Desirable criteria

  • Have experience in performing medicines reconciliation
  • Have experience in providing advice to patients on compliance and concordance.
  • Have experience in working within a secure environment
  • Have experience in identifying areas where the medicines management and pharmacy service can be developed
