Senior Pharmacy Technician Operational Services
(with responsibility for Theatres and associated areas) Band 5
We have an exciting opportunity for a registered Pharmacy Technician with Hospital Pharmacy experience who would be keen to have additional responsibility within the Dispensary setting. We are looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to become the link to Theatres and associated areas. You will be responsible for ensuring that medicines including to follows are supplied in a timely manner and any stock outs are investigated and resolved. A good knowledge of Controlled Drugs regulations will be essential as this post holder will be required to remove expired and unwanted Controlled Drugs from Theatre areas. This post will allow you to develop your line management skills as you will be required to manage Pharmacy Technicians/Assistants. Applicants must have the NVQ Pharmacy Services Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) and BTEC or equivalent certificate and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
