We are looking for a Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at The Lister Hospital, currently rated Outstanding by the CQC.
The Lister Hospital, located in Chelsea, has consistently provided care and treatment in London for over 30 years. We offer access to leading consultants from London's top teaching hospitals and contemporary treatment, with several highly specialised units including fertility, gastroenterology medicine, orthopaedics, and surgery. With 60 beds across three floors, we offer a specialised service, bespoke to our patients' needs. Our six-bed critical care unit provides dedicated specialised care to seriously ill patients with a range of surgical or medical conditions.
Within the Pharmacy department, there is a small team of 8 who cover many areas for the hospital. It has a high turnover of outpatient requirements covering Surgical, ITU, Medical, Urgent Care, and also the Lister Fertility Clinic.
This role is a great development opportunity for someone from a retail or mixed hospital background as you will get the opportunity to learn the cross functions of the different areas and be offered the chance for additional training to develop your career. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who displays positivity and leadership within a team to assist in the provision of a comprehensive pharmacy service which consistently meets the needs of all service users.

Be a role model supporting your peers whilst actively promoting the role of pharmacy technicians.
Together with the senior technical team, ensure the smooth day-to-day running of dispensaries and ward technical services.
Be accurate in your work with good attention to detail and have good communication skills.
Assist with supervision, training, and development of pharmacy and other MDT staff.
Participate in quality projects and service development.
Assist in the staff appraisal system including monthly one-to-ones.
