A prominent healthcare provider in Liverpool is looking for a Senior Pharmacy Informatics/Technician System Support. This part-time role involves managing pharmacy IT systems, training staff, and ensuring effective implementation of electronic prescribing systems. The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience in pharmacy informatics. A competitive salary of £38,682 to £46,580 per annum, pro rata, will be offered.
Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for the role of Senior Pharmacy Informatics/Technician System Support. The closing date is 18 September 2025.
The post holder will work closely with the Lead EPMA Pharmacist, Pharmacy IT Systems Manager, CCIO for Pharmacy and Medicines and the Digital Critical Care Project team to help implement a Critical Care Electronic Patient Record System at the Walton Centre Hospital Site. They will coordinate the configuration of the prescribing drug file and collaborate with Walton and LUHFT critical care teams to ensure the system meets the needs of the critical care unit and provides a safe and effective prescribing solution. The post holder will implement appropriate governance for the system, including the development of guidelines and standard operating procedures, training and documentation for pharmacy staff, and liaison between software/hardware suppliers and LUHFT IT teams.
