The Methodist Church in Britain is seeking a committed Pharmacy Technician to join a 12-month fixed-term post within the Pharmacy ePMA and Digital Systems team at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. • Hold responsibility for a defined portfolio of pharmacy systems, managing, supporting and optimising them.
• Contribute as a senior member of the Digital Systems team on system strategy, development and continual improvement.
• Provide digital and analytical support to clinical pharmacy teams, including investigating, monitoring and tracking medicines savings schemes.
• Produce accurate and timely reports to inform clinical, operational and financial decisions.
• Deliver internal and external reports for organisational, regional and national requirements.
• Support effective use of digital systems across pharmacy teams, promoting good data quality and system governance.

Job description

This 12-month fixed-term post sits in the Pharmacy ePMA and Digital Systems team at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust, for a registered pharmacy technician. The work centres on supporting, maintaining and developing pharmacy and Trust-wide digital systems, including a defined portfolio of pharmacy systems and regular reporting for clinical, operational and financial decisions. It covers all three Mid and South Essex sites and supports the rollout of a new electronic patient record system. Applicants need GPhC registration and post-registration hospital pharmacy experience.

What’s required

Experience

• Significant post-registration hospital pharmacy experience
• Previous medicines optimisation and dispensary experience
• Evidence of multidisciplinary working
