Senior Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officer - Homecare Services

Join us as a Senior Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officer - Homecare Services at Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

This role involves processing purchase orders and invoicing for homecare pharmaceutical products, assisting senior technicians, and supporting the coordination of homecare medicine services within the trust.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Efficient processing of purchase orders and invoicing within the pharmacy stock control system.
  2. Assist with the receipting of homecare pharmaceutical products.
  3. Support the coordination of homecare medicine services across Bury, Rochdale, and Oldham.
  4. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and current guidance.
  5. Participate in the dispensary working rota.
  6. Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements

Essential: Experience with Microsoft Office (intermediate Excel and Word), team working, and relevant qualifications such as GCSEs in Maths and English.

Desirable: Hospital pharmacy experience, pharmacy software knowledge, NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services.

Additional Information

Location: Fairfield General Hospital, Bury. Contract: Fixed Term, 37.5 hours/week, full-time, flexible hours. Salary: £24,071 - £25,674 per annum. No sponsorship eligibility.
