Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday; may rotate with on-call rota expectations
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive Depending on Experience (with excellent benefits)

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Pharmacy Assistant to join the Aseptics team at our Leaders in Oncology Care site currently rated "Outstanding" by the CQC. Our flagship outpatient centre in Central London is dedicated to innovative, day-case cancer treatment and is equipped to deliver a range of cancer treatments in calm and comfortable surroundings.

As a Senior Pharmacy Assistant you will assist in the daily running of a safe and effective pharmacy aseptic service while maintaining the highest standards of patient-focused care. You will liaise with Medical, Nursing and other members of the multidisciplinary staff involved in patient care, LOC staff and Pharmacy staff from other HCA Hospitals.

What you 'll bring:

  • NVQ 2 in Pharmacy Services (desirable)
  • 5 x GCSEs grade C or above, including Maths and English, or equivalent
  • Experience of working within a hospital Aseptic unit
  • Strong communication skills
  • IT literate and able to use Microsoft Office
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the daily running of a safe and effective pharmacy aseptic service
  • Liaise with Medical, Nursing and multidisciplinary teams involved in patient care
  • Support a patient-focused approach and uphold high standards of quality and safety
  • Collaborate with LOC and Pharmacy staff across HCA Hospitals as needed
