Job description

This part-time role is ideal for M.Pharm students looking to support dispensary, distribution, and stores operations while developing clinical and technical skills. Youll work closely with pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-focused pharmaceutical services across our hospitals.

Main duties of the job
  • Dispense prescriptions accurately for inpatients, outpatients, and discharge patients
  • Support stock control, ordering, and distribution of medicines across wards and clinics
  • Operate automated dispensing systems and maintain inventory records
  • Assist with the topping-up service, ensuring wards have appropriate and in-date stock
  • Receive and process deliveries, manage storage, and handle returned medications
  • Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and pharmacy staff
  • Participate in training and development, including completing Level 2 Dispensing Assistant modules
