Job summary

NHS Ayrshire and Arran is seeking a Senior Pharmacist - Renal Disease based at University Hospital Crosshouse. This permanent post is 36 hours per week and forms part of the renal pharmacy team delivering pharmaceutical care to renal inpatients and outpatients.

You will work as an independent prescriber within the specialty, manage your own caseload, and may require travel within acute sites across NHS Ayrshire & Arran.

Qualifications

• You must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
• Applicants should be working towards credentialing against the RCP Core Advanced Curriculum or provide evidence of clinical knowledge equivalent to that level.

Responsibilities

• You will join our renal pharmacy team to provide pharmaceutical care to renal patients across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• You will work as an independent prescriber within this specialty managing your own caseload (e.g., anaemia and polycystic kidney disease).
• Travel within acute sites across NHS Ayrshire & Arran will be required.

RCP Core Advanced Curriculum credentialing (or equivalent)
